Suzuki RG250 Gamma Pepsi
In the process of buying a number of Tamiya RG250 Gamma Walter Wolf special models, in order to collect decals for various
Walter Wolf projects, I ended up with some leftover kits.  I stumbled across photos in the Internet of an RG250 Gamma with Pepsi
markings.  In turns out that when Pepsi sponsored the Moto GP team, Suzuki released a Pepsi liveried motorcycle in selected
markets (European countries, from what I can found out).  This was an easy model conversion, the only thing was to find the Pepsi
decals.  The Fujimi RGV-Gamma (XR74) decals were just slightly oversized.  I managed to find and eBay seller with a sheet of
decals of various Pepsi logos, one of which was the perfect size.

However, when I tried to put on the decals, they were so stiff that they would not soften and cracked when they tried to form over
the fairing contours.  The solution was to use the Fujimi 'Pepsi' logo, some white decal sheet painted red and some touch up with a
brush.  Not the best quality results, but the model is finished. Below are photos of the cracked decals.

The yellow decal on the bodyword behind the seat was done by:
- cutting out the shape in sheet styrene
- placing on a sheet of yellow decal paper
- tracing around the shape with a small diameter black marker
- flipping over the styrene shape and repeating
- carefully cutting out the decal

Base Kit(s):   Tamiya Suzuki RG250 Walter Wolf (kit number 14053)
