
| Honda RS1000 Endurance Motorcycle I built this model quite a few years ago, before I had improved my airbrushing skills. I made up a 'weathered' base to display the model and one of the mechanics from Tamiya. The model depicts a fictional privateer team called 'Evy Racing'. In December 2020, I got tired of looking at the paint on this model - the brush painted wood varnish had yellowed over time and was due for a re-paint. Decals from my stash, depicting a fantasy privateer race team. Base Kit(s): Tamiya 1/12 scale 14014 Honda RS1000 Endurance Racer Finished: mid-1980's (re-painted Dec 2020) Modifications/Additions: - brass screening on intake manifolds - working rear suspension - brake lines are silver painted cloth fishing line - decals from a variety of leftover decal sheets. - Tamiya white primer, and LP red and blue, all airbrushed, followed by one coat of Tamiya gloss right from the rattle can Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
