| Honda CX650 Turbo The year after Honda introduced the CX500 Turbo, they upgraded the engine to 650 cc and changed the graphics. This was built from the Tamiya kit, with some custom decals from Precision Design Company. Base Kit(s): Tamiya Honda CX500 Turbo (kit number 14016) Finished: Dec 2020 Modifications/Additions: - Molotow chrome and bare metal foil behind turn signals and brake light - Meng bolt heads replaced a number of bolts on the suspension and frame - Aluminum mesh replaced the molded mesh on the fairing sides - Hose clamps added to coolant lines on left side of engine - Removed and rebuilt starter motor to detail mounting bolts - Custom printed license plate - Body paint is Tamiya gloss white, pearl white, mica red and mica blue from their new line of LP paints, all airbrushed. This was followed by Tamiya clear from the can. Frame and engine is black acrylic and LP for bare metal parts. Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
